As the adoption of electronic content becomes an increasingly significant part of academic life, academic institutions without a delivery platform for their eBooks, eChapters, eJournals and eContent in general are forced to rely on third parties for the creation of eContent, marketing, sales and delivery. In extreme circumstances academic institutions have to buy their own titles back from third parties, which is costly and time consuming.

CloudPublish provides secure title management, user authentication (including Shibboleth and OpenAthens), subject code conversion, bibliographic referencing, MARC21 record creation, and download and subscription management. CloudPublish is pre-integrated with industry standard metadata solutions, including ONIX, OAI-PMH, OpenURL, and DOI.

CloudPublish technology means eContent can be made directly available to end users in formats which print does not allow, opening new avenues for business development.
